Answer:

Yes, it does. The person with the best internet connection should host the game. If you are experiencing lag, try switching hosts.

Answer:

First, make sure you both are on the same build version of the game. To check this, enable "show metrics" in the game settings. The version number should be the same for both players.
If the version numbers are the same, make sure you are both in the same Radmin VPN network. You can check this by going to the Radmin VPN app and looking at the network name.
If you are not in the same network, create a new network and invite your friend to join it.
Incase you are still having issues, check your firewall settings. Make sure that Radmin VPN is allowed through your firewall.
To do this, go to your firewall settings and look for Radmin VPN. Make sure that both private and public networks are allowed.
If you are still having issues, try restarting the game and Radmin VPN.

Question: Can I use something else besides Radmin VPN?

Answer:

Yes, you can use other VPNs like Hamachi. However, we recommend using Radmin VPN as it allowes more people to join the same network.
Note that if you use another VPN that we will not provide support for any problems you may encounter.
